Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), Hyderabad, one of the Premier Research Laboratories of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is engaged in Research & Development of Electronic Systems for Indian Armed Forces. DLRL invites applications from young and meritorious Indian Nationals, who desire to pursue defence related research as Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
1. Posts: Junior Research Fellow
2. No.of. Posts: Electronics and Communication Engineering ECE – 7 Posts , Mechanical Engineering – 3 Posts
3. Stipend (Monthly): JRF will receive a stipend of Rs. 31000/- + HRA as per DRDO Rules
4. Essential Educational Qualification: Graduate Degree in professional course (B.E/B.Tech) in first division with NET/ GATE (or) .Post Graduate Degree in professional course (M.E. /M.Tech) in First Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level. (In case a particular institute does not have any criteria for First class or Equivalent, 60% marks will be taken equivalent to First Class for that institute. In such cases where conversion formula is not available. CGPA/CPI of 6.75 (for a 10 point scale) will be taken as equivalent to 60%)
Age: Age Limit: The upper age limit is miximum of 28 years as on the closing date of advertisement. The upper age limit shall be relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST and by 3 years for the candidates belonging to OBC
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs. 10/- in Indian Postal Order (IPO) in the name of Director, DLRL. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories and women candidates are exempted from the payment.

Steps to Apply :-
Eligible candidates may send their duly completed applications (downloaded from the website), within 21 days from the date of advertisement, to “The Director, Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), Chandrayanagutta Lines, Hyderabad- 500005” through speed post only. Candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs. 10/- in Indian Postal Order (IPO) in the name of Director, DLRL. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories and women candidates are exempted from the payment. Š The offer of Fellowship will under no circumstances confer on candidates any right of absorption in DRDO. Š Candidates will be required to produce certificates/testiomonials in original along with two passport size photograph at the time of Interview. Candidates in Government service or in Government owned Organization will be required to produce ‘NOC’ from their respective Department/Employer at the time of interview. Persons called for interview will be reimbursed actual train/bus fare by the shortest route limited to sleeper class railway fare from the place to which interview letter is issued.
